Mr Fong Heng Boo studied at the University of Singapore (now known as National University of Singapore) and graduated with an Honours Degree in Accountancy. He has over 36 years of working experience in auditing, finance, business development, corporate governance, with full management responsibility taking independent initiative in various functional areas.

Mr Fong is currently holding the position as the Independent Director of Colex Holdings Limited (a company listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange) and he chairs the Audit Committee. He is also an Independent Director & Chairman of Audit Committee of Surbana Corporation (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings Limited). Furthermore, he has received numerous awards for his outstanding performance and is currently working as a Director (Special Duties) at the Singapore Totalisator Board (owner of Singapore Pools & Singapore Turf Club). Prior to this, he had held senior positions in the Auditor-General’s Office, Singapore, and in listed companies in Singapore and Australia.

His other professional experience included membership of Audit Committees of Statutory Boards and Advisory Committees of School of Accountancy at Nanyang Technological University and Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore. Mr Fong is also a Fellow member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
