1993 First paediatric living donor liver transplant in the UK; Second auxiliary liver transplant for metabolic disease in the world
1995 First paediatric living donor liver transplant in South-east Asia
1997 Second split-liver transplant in Asia
2002 First successful adult living donor liver transplant in South-east Asia
2004 - 2006 First patients transplanted in our Centre from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates.
2007 First private medical centre to have successfully performed the 100th live donor liver transplantation in Asia.
2008 - 2009 First in Asia to initiate plans to set up regional 'satellite' clinics and provide management consultancy services complementing organic growth strategies.
2009 ACLDT obtains listing on the Australian Securities Exchange
2010 Launch of Asian Liver Centre, Vietnam, in Ho Chi Minh City – the first specialist liver treatment centre in Vietnam.
2011 ACLDT and world-renowned US healthcare leader, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), signed an interim agreement to collaborate on establishing a Comprehensive Transplant Centre (CTC) in Singapore.
2012 First private medical to have successfully performed its 200th live donor liver transplantation in Asia.
ACLDT and UPMC formalised partnership to set up a Comprehensive Transplant Centre (CTC) in Singapore.
